Modbus server: Arcteq AQ-F255 Relay (X-gateway MTCP side connected to relay).
Modbus client: Anybus X-gateway.
PROFIBUS DP-V1 side connected to converter PROFIBUS/RS-232→ Uport 1150 converted to USB cable.
Connect Modbus-TCP port to your computer with RJ-45 cable
Run the HMS Ipconfig software, press search option to find the connected device and set the desired IP address as shown below:
Once the IP address is configured, you can write IP address to the browser to access the X-gateway.
In this example it is 192.168.100.100.
On the left side of menu, you can find different options. For example, Modbus client is your X-gateway. You can see the IP address set through the IP config software.
Go to Modbus servers tap and click on Add new server. A new line will appear, click on edit and update the server information.
In this case, its Arcteq Relay AQ-F255, IP address and Modbus port.
After this, click transaction tab, and edit each transaction.
For example, you can check:
1. Overcurrent stages status,
2. Object1 status
3. Digital input
4. Digital output status
5. Object 1 control
So, these points are added in according to the Modbus map HR of the relay.

Remember, when any changes are performed, the following red text appears on each tab.
So, after all the changes are done, go to X-gateway management tab, apply changes.
The X-gateway will reboot and changes are applied.
The X-gateway has been configured.
The configured data is now available on Profibus end and also on X-gateway.
The data on X-gateway can be seen as below:
The data on Profibus can be read through a software called PROFIBUS MASTER Simulator.
Connect with the software and start reading the data & control object as well.
