Simulating breaker status with logic in AQ-200 series units

If binary input statuses are not available for circuit breaker open/closed state it is still possible to simulate the status of the breaker for demonstration or test purposes. The following instructions show how to make a configuration for an object function so that it will simulate open/close status and properly switch state when open/close commands are given.

NOTE: This type of configuration should absolutely not be used to control a real circuit breaker. This type of configuration is only for demonstration or other test purposes.

Logic editor configuration

If you are dealing with AQ-21x series unit drag gates SR-Latch-, Connect- and NOT-gates. Connect SR-latch output to Connect-gate. To connect the same SR-latch output to NOT gate, drag from the yellow dot in the middle of the wire. Set input and output signals accordingly.

Dealing with AQ-25x series units the process is very similar. The only difference is to make the input and output gates and that the output of SR-latch branches from the tip of the SR-latch gate output.

Circuit breaker object configuration

In the object menu simply set Logical outputs 1 and 2 accordingly.
