Use timers to change logic status by time of day, day of week etc.

AQ-200 series relays have ten user settable timer signals available. These timer outputs can be set to activate and deactivate as basic or complex interval as needed. Timer output signals are set up at Commands > Set timers. Timer output signals can be used to change setting group, block/permit a function operation etc. As an example the timer can be set to:
  1. Activate/deactivate at a certain time of day, every day.
  2. Activate/deactivate at a certain weekday/weekdays at a certain time of the day.
  3. Activate/deactivate at a certain time of the month.
This article goes through some of the methods of setting up timers.
NOTE: To set timers at connection to relay with AQtivate must be active.
NOTE: To use timers signals the AQ-200 unit clock has to have an external time synchronization source to ensure correct timing of activation and deactivation.

Activate/deactivate at a certain time of day every day

To set a timer signal to activate at a certain time of the day every day and deactivate at a certain time of the day, add two timer states with green plus icon at the top right of the window. Choose the same Timer and state 0 for one and 1 for the other state. Then set the hour and min for activation and deactivation time. Timer activation time setting is visualized in the calendar at the bottom of the window with red color.

Activate/deactivate at a certain weekday at certain time of the day

Setting up the timer to activate at a certain weekday is similar to the previous example. The difference is you also set up the weekday for activation and deactivation.

Activate/deactivate at multiple weekdays at certain time of the day

If the same timer needs to be active twice a week just add two more timer states for the same timer.

Activate/deactivate at a certain time of the month

If the timer has to be activated/deactivated at a certain time of the month, set the day of the month instead of a weekday. In the example below timer activates every month at the 5th day in the morning and deactivates at the 10th day in the evening.

Adding multiple timers

If timers are needed for multiple applications in the same unit, set a states for a separate timer.

Using the timer in relay configuration

The timers use name Timer output X. These signals can be used in many ways. Below Timer output 1 status is used to activate setting group 1 and also in the logic editor.
